Class Description

A high-energy, empowering dance cardio class inspired by the rhythms and basic steps of Afrobeats, Dancehall, Dembow and more. Get ready to be transported to the Caribbean islands and the African continent with follow-along cardio routines where you will learn about the origins and cultures of the steps. These styles will empower you to explore new movements, express yourself through your body, and emerge feeling more grounded and confident. All levels welcome!

About Claire

Claire Hafteck is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, dance fitness instructor and NASM-certified trainer, based in Hong Kong and LA. She has a versatile dance background in styles such as Chinese folk, lyrical jazz, ballet, hip hop, bellydance, salsa, bachata, Afro dances, dancehall and more. She has been teaching dance fitness for over 6 years, and uses her knowledge to incorporate a taste of different styles into her classes—notably her newest concept, Afro-Caribbean Vibez, which mixes high-intensity cardio dance and basic steps from different African and Caribbean cultures. Her mission is to share the passion of dance and empower everyone to channel the truest expressions of themselves through movement.
